THE MOST COMMON QUESTION IS
WHY DO I NEED A WEBSITE ?There are many reasons why you should have a website. Whether you are an independent artist, entrepreneur or the owner of an established and successful business, a website will always help you to increase your reach. We have highlighted here some of the most important things to consider if you are asking yourself this question.

Bill Gates said : “If  your business is not on the internet, then your business will be out of business”. Your website is a window through which your company says hello to the world. It is your number one marketing asset in the digital age that we live in. Many times, people surf the internet at hours when most businesses are closed, which is perfectly fine since websites never take a break. While your business might be closed at that time, your customers can still find you online and get the information they need about your products and services.

Being online will allow your organization to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and show to your potential  customers what makes you better than your competitors. Think of it as an employee that never sleeps, a customer support agent that never takes a break and can attend as many customers as necessary at the same time!

People like to research before spending money. More and more people search online for the things they want. We all like to compare prices and find additional information about a product or service that we need before we purchase or contract it. If you don’t have a website, your potential customers will end up finding the websites of your competitors.

Having an online presence will not only provide your visitors with the information that they are looking for, but it will give your business more credibility. Not having a website can jeopardize your reputation. People are more likely to do business with a company that they trust or that they can read about online. Beware, though – if you have a bad website, it won’t help you at all. You have 10 seconds to make a good impression on your website’s visitors. After that, if they cannot find what are they looking for, or your website is not presentable and it does not have a responsive and modern design, they will most likely leave.

You need to introduce yourself to your customers! The first step of any successful sale is getting the potential clients familiar with what you are selling.

Your website is a great opportunity to present your products or services and cause a good impression. By having an online portfolio, you can reach more people than ever, and it is important that these people see you as a reliable professional. If you are reading this, you understand what we are talking about. For example, people tend to trust someone who is having a propper online store over somebody who is just selling products or offering services through much less reliable sources such as Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platforms.

As a small business owner, especially if you are just starting out, you are probably thinking that you can not afford paying for a professional website. The truth is, what you can not afford is not having one. Not being online and not having an online presentation is a major setback for your reputation. Statistically, 70% of your competitors already have a website.

As a big company, not having an online presence so that people can find your contact information, address or working hours is not acceptable. Can you imagine a chain of restaurants without an online menu? Why and how would someone order from them without knowing what food and deserts they are serving?

You can not depend on your customers finding your services by chance on your social media profiles. While they are also important, your website should be the gateway to said profiles, not the other way around. If your customers can not find you quickly and have to dig through social media in order to discover you, they will most likely take their business elsewhere. Can you afford that?

Your website is your constant online presence on the internet. There are many marketing strategies that you can use for advertising your business, and there are many social media platforms on which you can promote yourself. All of these tactics are proved to have good results, but the best performance often come from combining all of them and having them linked to one central component – your website.

Lots of business owners assume that having a social media profile is enough. But there are some problems with this assumption. The biggest problem is that not having a website with an independent position within search engine rankings exposes you to search trends rather than consolidating your own results. In technical terms, no domain authority results in constant loss of accumulative ranking. Another issue is that algorithms change, rules change, and what is working one day might not work a few weeks later. If you have a website, it belongs to you, and you have total control over the content and the message, and most importantly over your ranking scores.

Having access to all your relevant business information is what your customers expect from you. From having your address or a link to your location on Google Maps on your website, to a comprehensive list of the products and services that your offer, whether they are physical or digital products.

They, just like you are doing now, will want to go through your FAQ section, understand your business and procedures, and get to know you better before engaging in a business relationship. Your customers expect you to educate them and give them information that they need here, on your website, at any time they require it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Web hosting is a service that allows organizations and individuals to post a website or web page onto the Internet. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for the website or webpage to be viewed in the Internet. Websites are hosted, or stored, on special computers called servers. When Internet users want to view your website, all they need to do is type your website address – domain into their browser. Their computer will then connect to your server and your web pages will be delivered to them through the browser.

Domain name is the address of your website that people type in the browser URL bar to visit your website. In simple terms, if your website was a house, then your domain name will be its address. (www.ssweb.company is our domain name)

When choosing your domain name you need to consider the following aspects:

Choose a brandable name (unique, easy to memorize, easy to pronounce, sounds trustworthy)

  • It’s unique – your competition doesn’t use anything similar.
  • It’s easy to memorize – not too wordy, no complex vowel combinations.
  • It’s easy to pronounce and dictate over the phone.

Keep It Short, Simple, and Predictable

There are also some other, more general, characteristics of a quality domain name. The big four being:

  • short – preferably with fewer than 15 characters
  • simple – no hyphens, no underscores, no complicated words as part of the domain, or any other punctuation
  • just words – avoid using numbers unless absolutely necessary
  • predictable – no weird spellings

Use Keywords in Your Domain Name Search

Keywords play an important role in a domain. By using keywords in your domain name, you tell the search engines what your website is about. Together with quality content and good user experience, keywords in your domain can help you rank higher on Google.

With us, you will get one year of free hosting and domain. Starting with the next year, you will need to pay 40 € each year for these two services . If your domain and hosting are provided by us, we will contact you a month before their expiration date to remind you that you need to pay these services. This way we make sure that you will not accidentally forget about them.

If you already have a website and are paying for hosting and domain services, you can use them if you are satisfied with the pricing. Remember that we provide one year free for both domain and hosting. You should compare prices and choose the best option. If you decide to use your own domain and hosting, we will require access to your hosting platform in order to migrate the new website after we finish. It is your responsibility to keep up with your payments to your third party service providers in order to avoid having the website offline.

In order to answer this question, we need to know what it is exactly that you have in mind. The price depends on many factors. You can find more details about our prices and packages on our PRICING PAGE and find examples and case studies of some of our previous websites presented in our PORTFOLIO.

SEO or Search Engine Optimization is made up of multiple different elements, and knowing what they are and how they work is key to understanding why SEO is so important. In short, SEO is significant because it makes your website more visible, and that means more traffic and more opportunities to convert prospects into customers.

Yes, it is. Depending on the package that you purchase, all of our websites come with SEO optimization. Of course, the research and preparation that we provide for the basic and professional packages are not the same. This is the SEO for the main website content, monthly SEO is not included. We will also provide you with tips on how to get more traffic on your website as well as a comprehensive explanation about the different strategies you can apply.

How long it will take us take to build and complete your website depends on you. After you provide us with the all content needed, we will start working on it. In each package you can see how much time we need, starting from the moment you have provided all the required content. It also depends on how much input we get from you and how soon we will get your feedback after completing each phase. The more time you invest in this project, the faster your website will be up and running.

A lot! First step taken by you should be showing us a few websites that you like. After that, we will send you up to five themes or visual solutions. After you choose one, and provide us with your content, website development officially starts. During the process, depending of the package, you will have a number of revisions that you can use if you change your mind regarding the pictures, text etc. We love to hear our customers feedback and it is very important that we work together with you on your website, web store or web platform. After adding all provided content and arranging it, last step is your final revision. It is very important that you check your website from the big desktop screen, tablet and Smartphone because it will not look  the same on all devices. Please pay attention to each word letter by letter, all of the links between the pages, button functionalities etc. Once when you finish your last revision, and approve it, payment should be completed and that’s it, your website is ready to be published and promoted. We will provide you with different modern mockups (you can see on our website what kind of mockups we do for all our customers) and Voilà, you have a new website! Aren’t you excited already? We are!

You will. You are the expert when it comes to your own business, so it’s always best that you provide all the content yourself. We will prepare for you a list of the Key Words related to your business, location etc, and explain you how to use it. We will advise you during our personal or virtual meeting and help you during the process. If needed, we can also take on the task of content creation, but it involves an extra charge depending of how much content is needed. Content creation fees start from 50 euros.

Don’t worry, if you don’t have quality photos, and you cannot hire a professional photographer, we can provide you with high quality images to choose from a wide array of options. Nevertheless, we encourage you to invest in personalized pictures in order to make your website look more authentic.

Yes, you will. It depends of the type of the website that you choose, but we do build websites whose owners are able to update themselves. All our prices include 1 hour of tutoring, in which we will teach you how to add pictures, write blog posts etc. If you do not want to update your website by yourself, we provide this service at the cost of additional charges. After the consultation, depending of the type of your business, we will recommend the best choice for you. Check out our complete website design offers on our WEBSITE SERVICES page.

We are always just one email or phone call away. We are here for you even when we finish and deliver your website. We have great relationships with all our previous customers and we are looking forward to having one with you. We are not going anywhere, you can always count on us!

Want to hire us? Just send us an email or feel free to fill out our contact form. If you already know what package you want, feel free to provide us with the details. We will schedule a meeting (personal if possible, Skype, WhatsApp or simple phone call) and ask you a lot of questions in order to understand what it is that you need.

Once we agree on the details of our cooperation, we will send you a list of available domains ( if you know already what domain name you want, we will just check if it is available). When the domain name is confirmed, the next step will be the payment of the initial deposit – at least 100€ (half of the price for the landing page). After we receive this payment, we will register your domain which will be active in the next 24 to 48 hours.

After that, the list of visual themes and solutions (up to five) will be provided to you, as well as complete list of what we will need from you (website content such as logo, text, images, phone numbers…). And, as a mentioned above, when you provide us with all the content required, we will start working on your new website.

Of course. Before we even get started, we will provide you with a legal service agreement (the contract) that you will have to sign. You will also get a bill from our company based in Estonia. Keep in mind that if you do not have a VAT number, you will be charged 20% extra to cover intra-Community taxes. If you do have a VAT number, the tax is 0% and you can use this bill as an additional expense for your company.
